SOFTWARE LICENCE AND WARRANTY INFORMATION

Button Manager is not and has never been public domain software,
nor is it free software.  It is Copyright (c) by AKC Applied
Knowledge Corporation, with All Rights Reserved. 
 
Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use Button
Manager on a 21-day trial basis for the purpose of determining
whether Button Manager is suitable for their needs.  The use of
Button Manager, except for the initial 21-day trial, requires 
registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of Button Manager by
any person, business, corporation, government agency or any 
other entity is strictly prohibited.
 
A single user license permits use of Button Manager only on a
single computer.  Licensed users may use the program on different
computers, but may not use the program on more than one computer
at the same time.
 
You may not modify the Button Manager executable file in any way,
including but not limited to translating, decompiling, 
disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program. 
Furthermore, none of the supporting files may be modified in any 
manner.
 
A limited license is granted to copy and distribute Button 
Manager only for the trial use of others, subject to the above
limitations, and also the following: 
 
1.	Button Manager must be copied in unmodified form, 
        complete with all the files identified in the Required 
        Files section of the Help File or the README.TXT file.  

2.	You may not distribute the Button Manager Registration
	Id, which is assigned to you when you register this 
	product.

3.	No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested
	or accepted, except as authorized below: 
 
	a.	Operators of electronic bulletin board systems
		(sysops) may make Button Manager available for
		downloading only as long as the above conditions
		are met.  An overall or time-dependent charge for
		the use of the bulletin board system is permitted
		as long as there is not a specific charge for the 
		download of Button Manager. 
 
	b.	Vendors  may distribute Button Manager only after
		obtaining written permission from AKC Applied 
		Knowledge Corporation (Please consult the 
		Contacting Us help topic or the README.TXT file 
		for address or Fax number details).  Obtaining a
		vendor license is not a difficult task, but it is
		required if you wish to sell the product.  

	c.	Non-profit user groups may distribute Button 
		Manager, subject to the above conditions, without
		specific permission. Non-profit user groups may 
		charge a disk duplication fee, which may not 
		exceed five dollars. 
 
Warranty Information

"BUTTON MANAGER" (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS "SOFTWARE") AND THE 
ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTATION IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF
ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A 
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN
NO EVENT WILL AKC APPLIED KNOWLEDGE CORPORATION OR ITS SUPPLIERS
BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, OR SPECIAL
DAMAGES, EVEN IF AKC APPLIED KNOWLEDGE CORPORATION HAD BEEN
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.  IN ANY CASE, AKC 
APPLIED KNOWLEDGE CORPORATION'S ENTIRE LIABILITY UNDER ANY 
PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT 
ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE.


USE OF THIS PRODUCT FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME CONSTITUTES YOUR
ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT AND SUBJECTS YOU TO ITS CONTENTS.
